The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team and the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship cordially invite you to their charity Casino Night fundraiser. Casino games will blackjack, 5-card draw, and Texas hold’em. Other entertainment will be offered throughout the evening including performances by the UNL theatre department. Cash bar. Attire for the evening is formal (suit jacket and tie).

One hundred percent of the monetary donations will be used to aide in food insecurity with all donations going to the Lincoln Food Bank and the United Nations World Food Programme – Haiti.

Tickets for this event are $25 and may be purchased by using the button above or by mailing checks made out to UNL SIFE to CBA 217, P.O. Box 880487, Lincoln, NE 68588-0487.

American Heart Association Go Red!

The American Heart Association put on a beautiful dinner last night in the Jasmine Room. With a silent auction, cocktails and delicious food catered by On the Boulevard. The room looked spectacular with amazing centerpieces and flowers on the tables. The room was filled with over 250 guests as they all gathered to support the American Heart Association and learn how to live heart healthy. It was truly a beautiful night.

Doane Alumni & Wesleyan Formal

We hosted two great events this past weekend. Friday night the Doane alum ni gathered in the Grand Hall for a night of great food, drinks and reminiscing. It was a great gathering of the former Tigers.

Downstairs in the Jasmine Room, Nebraska Wesleyan put on a great formal. There was about 600 students in attendance and a very packed dance floor! Green Gateau catered the event and the DJ kept the party going all night long. Thanks for a great night!

New High-End Restaurant in the Making!

The Grand Manse is excited to announce our latest project. We have a great space under construction which we are looking to turn in to a new high-end restaurant. This space contains many historic features and is located on the southeast wing of main floor. One of the most unique features of this room is the historic vaults that it contains. One of these vaults has the potential to be a private dining area or party room for the restaurant. We are also looking to create an additional outdoor patio to offer more seating space. This patio would put customers right in the middle of historic downtown Lincoln with the greatest dining view.

We are currently looking for anyone interested in opening a new restaurant here. We have a great vision for what this space could become and would like it to be a restaurant that features Nebraska grown products and could potentially be the finest steakhouse in Lincoln. Another added bonus to this space is the ability to be able to cater any of the events that are hosted in the Grand Manse. Also coming soon is the Grand Manse Wine Cellar! We will soon have a great space in the basement filled with the finest wine in Lincoln.

The space is still undergoing heavy construction, but here are some pictures of the progress.

New Look for the Capitol Hall

What was formally known as the Capitol Suite has now become the Capitol Hall here at the Manse. We’ve recently added a new art mural above the doorway to the Hall. Come check out the great artwork and see the space which is available for private parties and events.

History & Huskers!

Wednesday December 30th is going to be a fun-filled day at the Manse. We’re starting at 6:00 p.m. with our history tour. We’ll start in the East Lobby and take a 40 minute tour of the building. There will be a historic features scavenger hunt along the way with prizes!

But hurry, there’s only a few spots left!

Then stick around, at 6:45 p.m. we’ll be watching the Huskers take on the Arizona Wildcats in HD in the Jasmine room. We’ve got 13 and 17 foot screens to watch the game on, and the bar will be open. Come show your Husker spirit!
